Crocodiles and alligators have the most powerful bite in the animal world..
Crocodilians have a second jaw joint which spreads the force of their bite. This helps to stabilise the jaw, stopping it from twisting or slipping. Researchers believe studying the evolution of the jaw could provide insight into human jaw conditions
